International violinist Elena Urioste is a frequent soloist with major orchestras and at prestigious festivals round the world, while Tom Poster needs no introduction as a former winner of the Scottish International Piano Competition and regular broadcasting and recording artist.

During the COVID lockdown the husband-and-wife team invented the ‘jukebox’ concept, streaming daily video performances live online and playing pieces requested by viewers. Their videos of music ranging from Fauré to Cole Porter and from the Baroque to Jerome Kern and new commissions became a world- wide phenomenon.

In Milngavie they will play one of these three sonatas, which you can choose in advance.

2. Janáček (1854-1928): Violin Sonata

3. Mendelssohn (1809-1847): Violin Sonata in F major
